He was predeceased by: his mother Loretta Powell (Kimmerling); his mother-in-law Marilyn Welch; his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Welch and Glenn Spearman; and his granddaughter Eliona Powell-Casey.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Powell; his children, Kerri Fuson (Adam) and Katelynn Casey-Powell (Daytrean); his siblings, Kim Creager (Rodney), Mindy Spangler (Brett) and Brad Powell (Holly); his grandchildren, Landyn, Kaylani and Daytrean, Jr.; his sisters-in-law, Missy Spearman and Kelly Johnson (Bret); and his father-in-law Jim Welch.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel (515 E 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at the East Maplewood Cemetery (200 College Dr, Anderson, IN 46012).
