Benefiel (Crull); his stepfather Carl Benefiel; his granddaughter Krystyna "Alex" Daylynn King; his siblings, Tim King, Larry Ferguson, Beth Lord, Wendy Wells and Nina Baker; his friends, T. R. Rouse, Jeff Curry, Bob Boots, Randy Chaudion and John Mollett (Beth); his cousins, Cody King (Kristin), Pricilla Crull and Rachel; his aunt Dorothy Crull; his nephew Steven Lord; his cousins, Linda and Wayne Patten; and his close friend Pat Branham. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
