With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carl Daniel Erskine (Anderson, Indiana), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carl Daniel left this world on April 16, 2024 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Matt Erskine and Bertha Erskine; his in-laws, Lowell and Lula Belle Palmer; his brothers, Lloyd and Donald Erskine; his siblings-in-law, Robert and Jeanie Phillips; and his nephew James Lee Erskine.

He is survived by : his wife Betty (Palmer); his children, Danny (Pam) of Anderson, Gary (Beth) of Pendleton and Susan Short (John) of Albany, GA; his grandchildren, Dannae Witcher (Mark), Abby Franklin (Brad), Amy Daniel (Jed), Luke Short (Susie) and Megan Stephenson; his great grandchildren, Julianna, Seth, Brennen, Sydney, Eli, Carrel, Allen, Brooklyn, Charlotte and Sadie; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Palmer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Madison Park Church of God (6607 Providence Dr, Anderson, IN 46013). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

“Mr. Erskine, you were an amazing man that accomplished so much and was so humble. I will never forget the day we met at Primrose, I had only been working less than a week part-time and you were sitting outside Therapy waiting your turn. Your words were, "Young Lady, sit down here and let's visit a bit." That is when you told me your name and profession, I went home that evening and read everything I could find on the Internet about you. RIP God got a good one. Betty/Family are in my prayers.”
