He was predeceased by: his father Manuel D. Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Jean Hall (Johnson) of Anderson; his daughters, Emily Johnson and Eveann Ward; his grandchildren, T. J. Ward of Fuquay Varina and Trinity Ward of Fuquay Varina; his sisters, Lori Johnson of Anderson and Kelly Jones (Scott Woodcock) of Anderson; his stepsiblings, Don Hall (Teresa) of Frankton, Dot Lawrence (Larry) of Frankton, Debbie Jenkins (Don) of Elwood and Lori Marley (Dave) of Elwood; his cousin David Johnson (Alana) of Ingalls; his close friend Steve Coonce (Barbara) of Chesterfield; and his nephew Jason Jones.
