He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine "Jerry" Whitehurst and B. J. Whitehurst; and his stepson Randy Bryant. He is survived by: his girlfriend Linda Bryant; his daughters, Bettie Freeman (Kyle) and Brandy Whitehurst; his grandchildren, Kelli and Dylan Huddleston; his stepdaughter Debrah Weessies; his stepgrandson Bailey Weessies; and his siblings, Larry Whitehurst (Doris) and Paula Lomax (Jerry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory (200 W 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
