He was predeceased by: his father James L. Zapf; his son Joseph D. Zapf; and his siblings, Glenna Mae Zapf and Randy D. Zapf. He is survived by: his mother Donna Mae Zapf (Sparks) of Greenfield; his sons, Nathaniel L. Zapf (Mariana) of Cheverly and Lucas Zapf (Jenna) of Guernsey, Wyoming; his brother Monty J. Zapf (Melody) of Greenfield; and his grandchildren, Henry, Cash, Oliver and Benjamin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
