He was predeceased by: his parents, Farrel Brandenburg and Geneva Brandenburg; his wife Lela Smith Brandenburg; his son Tim Brandenburg; and his brother Farrell Brandenburg.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tonya York (Doug) and Linda Nuce (Mark); his granddaughter Sandy Singh; and his daughter Olivia. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Darrell's name to the Edgewood Baptist Church.
