He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Shade and Martha Shade (Brashear); his brother James Shade; and his in-laws, Wyman and Ruth Bishop.
He is survived by: his wife Mimi; his daughters, Amy Pressnall (Troy) and Sara Shade Hamilton (Brandon); his grandchildren, Nicholas Pressnall and Ava Pressnall; his brother Stephen Shade (Charlene); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Campbell (Buddy), Susan Mastin (Bobby), Stephen Bishop, Phillip Bishop (Mary Beth) and David Bishop (Tina). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
