It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Walter Gotshall of Anderson, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Gotshall and Mary Jean Gotshall (David); his former life partner Valerie "Val" Gotshall; and his sister Beth Gotshall. He is survived by : his wife Mary Lou Gotshall (Isaacs) of Anderson; his daughters, Erica Gotshall of Anderson and Barbie Jones (Kristopher) of Yorktown; his grandsons, Elijah Gotshall of Cleveland, OH and Alex Butler (Carly Everett) of Anderson; and his siblings, Mary Baines (David) of Ocala, FL, Richard Gotshall (Karen) of Franklin, IN and Matt Gotshall (Diane) of Logansport. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the House of Hope.

“I attended church with Dave & MaryLou, such a nice, warm, authentic couple. I always enjoyed listening to Dave speak, as he was a gifted public speaker. I enjoyed being around him, as he had a naturally contagious positive energy.
