With sadness, we share the passing of Donald B. Poe of Anderson, Indiana. Donald, born on December 7, 1949, passed away on September 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his fathers, Robert Bruce and Joe Ann Poe (Anderson); and his stepson Nathan Estep. He is survived by: his wife Hannelore "Hanna" Poe (Gascho); his sons, David Poe (Stephanie) of Greenwood and Matthew Poe (Beth); his stepchildren, Seth Estep (Arika) of Anderson and Michelle Harrison (Justin) of Noblesville; his grandchildren, Eli, Allison, Kayla, Carson, Rylee, Corbin, Austin, Emmett, Jayce and Asher; his sister Kris Polak of Indianapolis; his nieces and nephews, Russell Polak (Tasha) and Nick Polak; and his great-niece Grace.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Book Hotel Bozell Funeral Homes, Lapel Chapel (1010 Main St., Lapel, Indiana 46051). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Bozell Funeral Homes, Lapel Chapel (1010 Main St., Lapel, Indiana 46051).
