He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lafayette and Dorothy Irene Shupe (Dickinson); his former wife Roseanna Sue Shupe (Purciful); and his brother Vernon Edward Shupe. He is survived by: his spouse Loraine Shupe (Smith); his children, Linda Shupe Bowman (Blake) of Little Rock, Donnie Shupe (Rosie) of Noblesville and Marcia Shupe of Anderson; his grandchildren, Jonathon Shupe, Annaelise Bowman, Austin Jarrett, Shaneerose Bowman and McKalyn Weeks; and his sisters, Janice McVey and Pat Shelburne. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
