She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Melton and Delsie Melton (Garrett); her husband Richard Jervis; her brothers, Robert and Bill Melton; and her granddaughter Michaela Miller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Robyn Miller (D. R.) and Rhonda Francis (Scott); her grandchildren, Jacob Francis, Alexandra Martín (Marcus) and Ashley Hawhee (Braden); and her great grandchild Amiya Franklin.
