He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Haney and Shelby Haney. He is survived by: his wife Diana Haney (Goul); his children, Melissa Day, Eric Sands (Malissa), Parry Sands (Tina) and Donna Jo Richards (Shane); his grandchildren, Bre Helms, Heather Sands, Jacob Day, Mike Gardner, Mary Edwards, Bret Gardner, Julie Sands and Dakota Richards; and his sister Pat Murray. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory (200 W 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
