It is with sadness that the passing of Gary L. McDonald of Anderson, Indiana is shared. Gary, born on March 27, 1941, passed away on October 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren McDonald and Maxine McDonald (Jones); and his grandson Ricky Vega. He is survived by: his wife Karen McDonald (Stirlen); his daughters, Debbie Somerville (John) of Anderson and Laura Vega (Ric) of Whitestown; his grandchildren, Emily Somerville, Holly Somerville, Anthony Vega and Grace Vega; his great grandchildren, Camden and Maverick; his sister Marcia Estep (Phil); and his cousin John McDonald. He is also survived by two nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel (515 E 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
