She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin LaVern and Frances O. Norris; and her son John Martin Bauer. She is survived by: her sister Diana Norris; her brother-in-law Jeff Bowen of Hawaii; her niece Nikole Trolson (Brad) of Indianapolis; her nephew Arik Bowen (Tonya) of St. Paul, IN; and her daughter-in-law Katie Bauer of Muncie. She is also survived by six great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Madison County Humane Society.
