She was predeceased by: her parents, John Garrison and Nila Garrison; her granddaughter Josephine Strong; and her sister Juanita Pitts. She is survived by: her husband Paul Wheatley; her children, Talema Gray, Chris Gray (Glenda), Shanna Strong (Dillon), Dustin Wheatley (Ta-Kara Hammers) and Harley Wheatley; her grandchildren, Brianna Brewer, Cameron Brewer, Dalton Gray (Maddie), Shasta Doty, James Doty, Makaela Doty, Travis Strong, Daxton Strong, Grayson Strong, Julie Hammers and Skyla Wheatley; and her brother Gary Garrison (Kay). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Faith Assembly Church of God in memory of Gladys.
