He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Alice Brown Dishman; his daughter Erma Dale Hooten Short; his parents, Will Dishman and Lou Ellen Bilbrey Dishman; and his siblings, Oscar Dishman of Bethel Dishman, J. T, Fred Dishman and Gladys Gore.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Hooten, Steve Hooten, Barbara Hinkle (Kerry), Wally Dishman (Karla), Will Dishman (Beth) and Keith Dishman (Kira). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
