The memory of James J. Kovach of Anderson, Indiana, born in Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on April 20, 2024 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Kovach and Margaret Kovach (Arty). He is survived by : his wife Sandy Kovach; his children, Jeffrey, Ronald Kovach, Michelle Kovach and Patti Kovach (Carroll Bilbrey); his siblings, Robert Kovach and Janet Hogan (Dan); and his grandchildren, Edith James Bilbrey-Kovach and Sullivan Joseph Bilbrey-Kovach. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (1115 Pearl St, Anderson, IN 46016). A Mass was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at the East Maplewood Cemetery (200 College Dr, Anderson, IN 46012).
