With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jay Chambers (Anderson, Indiana), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jay left this world on September 20, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his son Brian Chambers; his parents, Earl Chambers and Margarette Chambers; and his siblings, Steve, Joe Chambers and Nancy Cox.

He is survived by: his wife Wilma; his daughters, Lisa Chambers (Calvin Shell), Misty Vanhooser (Don) and Sherri Tatman (Kurt); his grandchildren, Tiffany, Jason Beigh, Drake Vanhooser, Eli Vanhooser, Kaleb Tatman, Paisley, Mason Brizendine, Alexa, Spencer Harvey, Macy Tatman, Ellis Munger, Buster Vanhooser and Jackson Tatman; his great grandchildren, Cali, Kaden, Jax, Remi, Rylan Beigh, Rory Vanhooser, River, Townes Vanhooser and Henry Brizendine; and his sons-in-law, Kurt Tatman and Don Vanhooser. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service (229 S Rangeline Rd, Anderson, IN 46012). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be given to Riley's Children's Hospital.
