Joellen Hilligoss Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joellen Hilligoss of Anderson, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laughren Colvin and Inez Colvin (Eskew); her brother Jack Colvin; her parents-in-law, Arthur and Catherine Hilligoss; and her son-in-law Lee Hardacre.
She is survived by: her husband Wendell Hiligoss; her children, Alice K. Heruth (Tom), Wendy L. Hilligoss, Michael A. Hilligoss (Stephanie) and Susan Hardacre; her grandchildren, Ashley Blanton (Josh), Lexie Heruth and T. Michael Sheahan (Mikayla Cummings); and her great grandchild Eleanor Blanton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory (200 W 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, Anderson or Shriners Children's Hospital, or charity of the donor's choice.
