He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Gibson and Ethelee Gibson (Jester); his wife Linda Gibson (Bodkin); his children, John (Sarah) and Angie; his sister Linda Muterspaugh; his grandchildren, Donovan (Jennifer), Damar (Adrianna), Jessica and Kate; his great grandchildren, Ella, Kiel, Marley, Luca and Jude; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hunter, Mason and Axel; and his in-law Buddy. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was active in his church at Ovid as a nursing home visitor before Covid.
