She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Richard and Honora Richard (Eck); her husband Edward Lee Smith; and her siblings, Frederick Richard and Maddie Leffel.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Smith (Mary) of Anderson, IN., Kathy Pedro (Tim) of Uniondale, IN., David Smith (Teresa) of Bluffton, IN., Ann Henriott of Anderson, IN. and Daniel Smith of Gainesville, FL.; her siblings, Nora Carsey and Clement Richard; and her caregivers, Brittany DeWyse, Courtny Clayton and Saira Makic. She is also survived by numerous grand children and great-grand children.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St Mary's Church (302 E 11th St, Anderson, IN 46016). A Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
