It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Anne Sumner-Smith of Anderson, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on August 7, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald "Don" Kemp and Margaret Kemp. She is survived by: her husband Jim Smith of Anderson; her son Mike Sumner of Houston, TX; her siblings, Don (Barbara) and Patricia Ooley; her family, Chantell Detling (Terry), Delaney and Frank Smith (Leslie); Rylan, Jared, Gavin and Julia.
Kathleen was a member of Kingston Avenue Baptist Church, and memorial contributions may be made, to the church in her memory.
