She was predeceased by: her parents, George N. King and Carrie H. King (Haven); her husband Jesse Hughes Sr.; her children, Terri and Jesse; and her siblings, Vivan Pitts, Georgia Fogt and George W. King.
She is survived by: her son Glen Hughes; her granddaughters, Mandi Cox, Kera Hughes (Dustin Gore) and Karlee Helvie (Quinnten); her sister-in-law Gladys Rollins; and her friend Ella May Fridley.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services (504 W 9th St, Anderson, IN 46016). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Columbus Ave Church of Christ (4620 Columbus Ave, Anderson, IN 46013). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson Memorial Park (6805 Doctor M. L. K. Jr Blvd, Anderson, IN 46013).
