He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Pershing and Juanita Pershing (Alder); and his brother Perry Pershing. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Pershing (Miller) of Anderson; his son Chase Pershing (Cassandra) of Crown Pointe; his grandson Easton; and his close friend Kirk Mullins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many brothers and sisters-in-law.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service (229 S Rangeline Rd, Anderson, IN 46012). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Riley Hospital for Children or Madison County Shrine Club.
