Lakayla leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Lakayla’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She is survived by: her mother Terri Hicks (Aaron Swank); her grandmother Carol Riley; and her siblings, Derrick Smith of Anderson, Jayson Smith of Indianapolis, Travis Smith of South Carolina, Marcus Vandiver of Alexandria, Nicole Huffman of Anderson, Christopher Hicks of Anderson and Nicholas Hicks of Anderson.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service (229 S Rangeline Rd, Anderson, IN 46012). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to her family to offset funeral expenses.
