He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Slack and Pauline VanDolsen (Knight); his wife Rose Slack (Thomas); and his sisters, Joyce Hopper and Gloria Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Miller (Craig), Debbie Moody and Christopher Michael Gross; his siblings, James Slack (Sheila), Paulette Stout (John), Melissa Staggs (Steve) and Chris Slack; and his grandchildren, Christopher Gross, Jr., Lindsay Wood (Justin), Steven Robinson, David Kendall, Daniel Duncan and Hunter Austin. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
