He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Baines and Edith Baines (Armstrong); his former wife Christean; his son Ricky; his grandson David Wright; his siblings, William of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Lucille and Lois of Shippenville; and his pet Patch.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki; his children, Karen Johns (Skip) of Anderson, Indiana, Allen Baines of Freeport and Terry Baines (Shawn Marie) of Gainesville, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Shonna Bilbrey (Tony), Shelby Underwood (Duane), Kelly Haynes (John) and Kevin Baines (Dawn). He is also survived by many great-granddaughters and great-grandsons, as well as nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory (200 W 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
