Lorraine Cowger Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine Cowger of Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Peterson and Rose Peterson (Carlson); her husband Dick; and her siblings, Vernon Peterson, Arden Peterson, Harlan Peterson, Keith Peterson and Marlene Erickson.
She is survived by: her friend Richard "Dick" Cowger; her children, Julie Benson (Robert) and Michael Cowger (Sheila); and her grandchildren, Brielle Cowger and Kamri Cowger. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (310 E 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
