She was predeceased by: her parents, Lora (Chester Oberleas) and Sheridan. She is survived by: her brother John Oberleas; her brother-in-law Glen Heiny; her children, Bruce Purvis, Kim Schilke, Rick Purvis and Ben Purvis; Rick. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many dearly loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory (200 W 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Instead of sending flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Marian Pearl Purvis.
