With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Jo Vandergrift of Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on November 8, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Preston and Myrtle Louise Perkins (Mills); her husband William Richard "Dick" Vandergrift; and her brothers, William Perkins and Robert Perkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Trena Vandergrift of Anderson and Tricia Ewing of Lapel; her grandchildren, Michael P. Woodruff of Anderson and Krista J. Woodruff of Lapel; her great grandchild AJ Woodruff; her siblings, Norma Weston of Anderson, Sheila Green of Anderson and Jim Perkins (Susie) of Peru; and her sisters-in-law, Trudy Perkins of Anderson and Sherry Perkins of Brownsburg. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be given to Shriner's Hospital for Children or Central Christian Church.
