She was predeceased by: her parents, Roshier Marshel and Eleanor Marshel (Fannin); and her niece Angela Kay Marshel. She is survived by: her daughter Margaret Hendricks; her siblings, Roshier "Topper" Marshel II (Marcy) and Rose Stanford; her granddaughters, Madison Tate (Deante) and Kasandra Bland; and her great grandchildren, Paisley Rogers, Priscilla Rogers, Piper Rogers, Khaza Tate and Alexis Tate. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
