With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine L. Wilson (Anderson, Indiana), who passed away on May 8, 2026 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maxine L. Wilson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas L. Perry and Stella L. Perry (Brown); her husband Roy Wilson; her son Doug Wilson; and her siblings, Thomas Pat, Louis, Butch, Bill, Paul, Floyd, Alice, Phyllis and Edna.
She is survived by: her children, Leandrea Gentry (Chris) and Steven Wilson; her sister Alberta "Bert" Bennett; and her grandchildren, Greg Wilson (Crystal), Heather Wilson, Drew Wilson, Lauren Robbins (Jeremy), Taylor Gentry (Yesenia) and Ashley Moore (Braxton). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Book Hotel Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel (515 E 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at the Grovelawn Cemetery.
