He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hallmann and Emma Hallmann (Leitow); and his siblings, Donald Hallmann, Luella Kaul-Markel and Norine Hales.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Hallmann; his children, Steven Hallmann, Nancy Shaw (Frank) and Suzanne Richter (Greg); and his grandchildren, Sarah Fagan (Chad), Rachel Wagner, Drew Richter and Daniel Richter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made out to Christ Lutheran Church or Middletown Lions Clubs.
