He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Donald, Joyce Cathcart, Chester and Anna Lipinski; and his uncle Joseph Cathcart.
He is survived by: his wife Kaitlin Cathcart; his parents, William Cathcart (Shelly) and Theresa Hotwagner (Thomas); his sons, Ian Shaw and Simon Cathcart; his siblings, Luke Cathcart, Gabrielle Cathcart, Elijah Cathcart and Noah Cathcart; his stepbrothers, Chris Hotwagner, Stuart Hotwagner, Blake Hotwagner, Zach Yurack and Jacob Yurack (Darian); his brother-in-law Chris Emily (Evelyn); and his parents-in-law, Ronald and Kathy Emily. He is also survived by aunts & uncles, and several loving cousins.
