He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Briles and Stella Briles (Dickey); his parents-in-law, Edward and Lois Fischer; his daughter Christy Bez; his siblings, Betty Fosnough, Maurice and Phil Briles; and his pet Fritz.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Briles (Fischer) of Anderson, IN; his daughter Susan Daoust (Mat) of Anderson, IN; his son-in-law Mark Bez; his grandchildren, Mason Barnett, Emily Kelley, Logan Bez and Ryan Barnett; his sisters, Evadene Turner and Janet McCord (David); and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Allgood and Edward Fischer (Joyce). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
