Dave S wrote a sympathy message

“Hello. i worked for Rita at the ice cream store at Madison Ave and Cross Street in the summer of 1981 (I believe) when Carol owned the store and the gas station. She was a good boss and a nice person. I passed by the building today and thought of Rita and Carol. I was sad to find the news of Rita's passing. Best, Dave Skeels”
