With sadness, we share the passing of Ronnie E. Spurlin of Anderson, Indiana. Ronnie, born on July 10, 1948, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Spurlin and Wanda Spurlin (Gibson); and his sister Patricia Spurlin. He is survived by: his wife Lotheda Schoettmer; his son Travis Spurlin (Michelle); his grandchildren, Paige Spurlin (Nick Peoples), Morgan Peoples, Gage Spurlin, Elliona Spurlin and Mckenzie Arnold; his great grandchildren, Nova, Aubrey, Jerzi, Nevaeh, Jonah, Jessa and Roman; his children, Tonya Charlton, Krystal Johnston (Ashley Perry) and Lawrence W. Schoettmer (Gina); and his grandchildren, Lil'Lotheda Schoettmer, Kurstyn Johnston and Skylor Johnston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Book Hotel Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel (515 E 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
