She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Legan and Stella Legan (Slapnicar); her husband Raymond Novak; her daughter Mary Jean Novak; her children-in-law, Pat VanWinkle and LaDonna Novak; her grandson Zachary Novak; and her siblings, Jim Legan, Nancy Thorndyke and Lois Noble.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Novak (Diane) of Greensburg, Dan Novak (Misty) of Anderson, Jodi VanWinkle of Anderson, Robert Novak of North Carolina, Ray Novak (Natalie) of Pendleton and Susan Traitz (Jim) of Florida; her siblings, Pat Jaskowiak, Ernie Legan (Ruby), Judy Legan, Joni Clyatt (Steve) and Tom Legan (Teresa); and her grandchildren, Craig, Matthew, Joel, Brytni, Kati, Lauren, Amy, Jessica, Heather, Alexis, Jeanie and Patrick. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
