He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sokol and Genevieve Moreland; and his son John Sokol. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Sokol (Sullivan); his daughters, Christi Rohrman (Scott) of Indianapolis and Jennifer Barker of Pendleton; his sister Joyceanne Yelton of Anderson; his grandchildren, Tyler Barker, Drew Barker of Pendleton, Taylor French (Bradley) of Indianapolis and Lindsey Rohrman (Jermey Merrill) of Indianapolis; and his great grandchildren, Noah Merrill, Adeline French, Cooper French and Mia Merrill.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (2801 Lincoln St, Anderson, IN 46016). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Anderson, and St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
