It is with sadness that the passing of Sue Shettle of Anderson, Indiana is shared. Sue, born on September 6, 1936, passed away on August 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Sue will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Sue by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Sue is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Sue’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Kennedy and Madge Kennedy (Muterspaugh); her husband Kent Shettle; her daughter Denise Shettle; and her sisters, Mary Ann Mangravite (John) and Pat Leahy (Jim).
She is survived by: her daughter Mary-Pat Parrigan of Carthage; and her grandchildren, Hazel, Jacob and Liam Goble.
In keeping with Sue's lifelong passions, memorial contributions may be made to a local PBS station, a local school of the giver's choice, or the Democratic Party.
