He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hawsey and Irene Hawsey (Guice); and his brother Kenneth Hawsey. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Hawsey (Brock) of Anderson; his children, Lori Lubs of Anderson, Robin Cummings (Rick) of Indianapolis and Christopher Hawsey (Megan) of Greenfield; his siblings, Danny Hawsey of Monroe, Louisiana and Linda Sue Smith (Walter) of Oak Grove, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Dustin Lubs (Lilly), Austen Cummings (Maggie), Jaksen Cummings, Raegan Cummings, Casey Phillips (Ellei), Abby Phillips, Hannah Hawsey and Maddie Hawsey; and his great grandchildren, James Lubs, Layla Lubs, Nathaniel Lubs and Violet Lubs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service (229 S Rangeline Rd, Anderson, IN 46012). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Children of Promise, Madison County Humane Society or the Animal Protection League.
