With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Fountain of Anderson, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on December 12, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Fountain and Garnet Elizabeth Fountain (Perry); his wife Lou Ann Fountain (Murfin); and his great-nephews, Joshua Martin and Jeremiah Martin.
He is survived by: his son Michael Fountain of Perkinsville; his granddaughter Mika Lawson (Corey) of Perkinsville; his niece Donna Lawther (Mike) of Lapel; his nephew Gary Hiday (Cindy) of Indianapolis; his great-nieces, Amanda Paddock (Landon) of Lapel and Baylee Robertson (Brian) of Lapel; and his close friend Robert Kashmer (LeeAnn). He is also survived by six great-great-nieces and nephews.
