He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Howells and Helen Catherine Howells (Mauck); and his sister Rosemarie Howells. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Retherford (Neil) of Anderson, Beverly Summers of Anderson, Richard Howells of Anderson, Ivan Howells (Jenni Clayton) of Anderson and Judy Best of Anderson; his son Daniel J. Howells (Kristen) of Frankton; and his grandchildren, DJ Howells, Chloe Howells and Claire Howells. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
