Chad Deetz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Chad Deetz of Angola, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Allan W Deetz; his grandfathers, Louis Szeman and DeWan Deetz; his great-grandparents, John Szeman, Albert and Mabel McKean; his cousin Brandon Szeman; and his close friend Brad Springer.
He is survived by: his mother Joann L Deetz (Szeman) of Waterloo; his wife Amber Skees; his daughter Aiyanna Skees (Jagger Hurraw); his in-laws, David Skees of Angola and Debra Meek of Springfield, MO; and his grandmothers, Thelma Szeman of Waterloo and June Dickson of Auburn.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fairfield Cemetery (1282 Co Rd 13, Corunna, IN 46730).
Memorials can be given in memory of Chad to the Steuben County Humane Shelter or Northeast Indiana Cancer Services.
