The memory of Charles L. Phillips of Angola, Indiana, born in Sturgis, Michigan, who passed away on April 19, 2024 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by : his parents, Victor Phillips and Violet Phillips (Lung). He is survived by : his wife Wanda Riggs Phillips (Rahmer) of Angola, Indiana; his children, Ron Phillips (Nenita Drizal) of Muskegon, Michigan and Brenda Brown (Scott) of Elmira, Michigan; his stepdaughters, Brenda Armstrong (John) of Auburn and Bonnie Rattigan of North Charleston; his brother Donald Phillips of Howe; and his stepsiblings, Maxine Oswalt of Liberty, James Oswalt (Kris) of Iola and Danny Oswalt of Iola. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 12 great- grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pleasant View Church of Christ (200 Fox Lake Rd, Angola, IN 46703). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Floral Grove Cemetery (14478 US-20, Pioneer, OH 43554).
