Dana J. Steffel Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 30, 2026, at the age of 55, Dana J. Steffel of Angola, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Dana is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Dana's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He is survived by: his parents, David Steffel and Patricia Steffel (Osburn) of Hebron; his wife Tammi Rhine; his children, Tyler Steffel and Ashleigh Steffel of Angola; and his siblings, Michele Davis (Kip) of Angola and Craig Steffel (Olivia) of Merrillville. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
