He was predeceased by: his parents, William August and Wanuita Meyer (Fanshier). He is survived by: his daughters, Wenona Miller (Nathan) of Angola, Wanuita Dawdy of Jacksonville and Sabrina Daniel (Josh) of Jacksonville, Illinois; and his siblings, John and Stella. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
