It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James E. VanVlerah of Angola, Indiana, born in Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on May 26, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by : his parents, James E. VanVlerah, (Penny) of West Unity, Ohio and Donna J. VanVlerah, Sr. (Killion) of Angola; his wife Karen E. Hammons; his daughters, Abby VanVlerah of Angola and Elizabeth Matthews of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren, John, Karen, James and Lucy Matthews; and his sisters, Donna VanVlerah (Ed Bentley) of Hudson and Cathy Leonard (Jim) of Santa Fe.
