She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard E. Olaynick and Julia F. Olaynick Sr. (Smith); her husbands, Robert W. Walston and Morris Whitlock; and her brother Leonard "Doc" E. Olaynick Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Timothy R. Walston of Fort Wayne and Shannon E. Walston of Angola; her grandchildren, Tristen Angus, Elizabeth Angus, Logan Angus, Brady Perry, Taylor Perry, Seth Angus, Ian Angus and Landon Angus; her sibling's children, Debbie Sanders, Richard Walston, Patty Henderson, Peggy Warner, Dan Walston and Dee Walston; and her cousins, Julie Prinz and Arlene Tippens.

A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM.
